A daughter of one of the city’s “fathers” got into a private emergency room after a car accident. Realizing that the patience’s condition is rather critical and the time is running out, the doctors make a decision to do direct blood transfusion. The donor is a young nurse Olya, who dies during the surgery.
Going through rehabilitation Irina understands that something wrong is going on. The medical staff unwillingly talks to her, relatives thoroughly hide any information regarding the surgery. Purely accidental the girl finds out the actual reason of unsaid.
Irina is trying to meet a father of the dead and after that she is trying to substitute his daughter. Still being inconsolable for his loss, Sergey Andreevich does not suspect a true reason of such an unrequited love and affection.
