Synopsis

Those who had passed the backtracking point will never be the same. After this turning point there is no way back to previous life.

The talented surgeon Pavel Rodin reached his turning point when his daughter and wife died in a car accident but he survived. In a blink of an eye the head of loving family became a secluded widower, who is not able to perform the surgery and drive a car. He started to live like a hermit.

A year later Pavel receives a strange invitation to the presentation of medical encyclopedia edition, where he meets Nina, the charming encyclopedia editor. This acquaintance recovered him from depressive whirlpool and could turn into predictable affair, but some strange coincidences are just way too disturbing and obvious to ignore. It seems like someone plans a revenge on Pavel for long forgotten events that took place 25 years ago.

Rodin’s friend and neighbor Herman, who is also a private detective, offers his professional help and starts research of mysterious events. The perfect ending where justice has to triumph and the evil has to be punished is being complicated by the fact that past has to be taken care of as well.

Even professional surgeons with clear conscience can make mistakes and have to pay for them.
