Angelina is a very talented designer, the owner of the company, socially active fashion queen and quite a whimsical lady. The woman who has all, but happiness.

Alexei is a former doctor, the famous neurosurgeon to be more exact, but now he is homeless, living in the trailer at the junkyard. But whatever happens, the real doctor remains a professional forever: Alexei keeps on practicing, curing his homeless fellows. In return, they call him Doctor to show their respect.

Angelina desperately looks for love. Once a fortune-teller predicted her, if she won’t find her love until 35, she would be miserable and lonely forever. In a month she will be 35 years old. Angelina is not superstitious, but fortune-teller’s words make her mad. Almost anybody she meets seems for her to be her destiny.

Angelina’s mother is the social celebrity and she wants to arrange her daughter’s life in her own way, and at some party she introduces her to a catch. But Angelina means to piss of her mother and everybody else: she gets drunk and goes away on some passing car. She finds herself out of the town, all alone and almost stoned out of her mind. She is attacked by local ruffians, but luckily Alexei intervenes right in time. He saves Angelina and takes care of her injures. Angelina understands that he is a doctor. But why is he living at the junkyard? She sees that Alexei is civilized, fascinating and smart but in broken spirits. She wants to help him somehow. She falls for this courageous man, and she asks him to live at her place until she would be fully recovered. He accepts her request. Little by little the true feeling arises between them. Alexei helps Angelina to change herself. He does not like that false hangout world, which surrounds his beloved woman.

Angelina falls in love for the first time in her life. But Alexei cannot get away from his past. Exactly his past turns him back to the junkyard. The reason of that Alexei keeps in a secret, but Angelina tries to find out about his past. She gets to know, that there was a tragic episode in Alexei’s life. He decided to operate his own brother Dima. All surgeons considered that operation to be hopeless and none of them believed in success. The operation was effective. And it was a real sensation. Dima was getting better, but after three days he died. He died while Alexei was receiving prestigious medical award. And he could not forgive himself his absence.

Angelina does her best to cure Alexei’s soul. She offers him a job of administrator in her company. After he got into the swing of things he discovered that Victor, who was a financial director of the company was robbing Angelina for a year. Alexei tries to talk to him like man to man, but the affair took an unexpected turn. Victor, who is worried about changes in Angelina and the new one in the company, hires a private detective. And he finds out everything about Alexei’s past and present, including that he was homeless. Victor blackmails Alexei, threatening him, that he would boost a great scandal, which would harm Angelina’s reputation. Alexei leaves a message for Angelina: “I’m sorry, but I’m not the person you need. I can’t make you happy”. And he goes away.

The same time Angelina tries to discover the truth. She finds his former colleagues. And one of the nurses – Larisa – tells her the true story. As it turned out on the day of Dima’s death the old doctor Ivan Borisovich regardless of Alexei’s directions, treated his brother by own methods, set an injection. And that was the reason of that awful tragedy. The old scared doctor was begging Larisa not to give him away. Dima was dead and Larisa pitied the oldman.

Angelina hurries to reveal the truth to her beloved, but finds only his goodbye note. In despair she seeks for him everywhere - at the junkyard, at the places they were together. Suddenly she sees a silhouette of a man, who looks exactly like Alexei. She calls him, screams, runs after him, but… gets run over by a car.

When she comes to her senses, she realises that she is in the clinic, where Alexei once worked in the past. She sees his face. He is by her side. And he knows the truth. From now on nothing is going to prevent them from being together.
