The most anticipated animated feature of the year is about to hit the theatres. “A Monster in Paris” will win our hearts on December 29.

3D format will add certain charm and vividness to an already fascinating story of a gigantic but harmless garden monster persecuted by the chief of police. The cute monster will rely on his new friends – a shy movie projectionist, a colorful inventor, a star of the Bird of Paradise cabaret, and an eccentric scientist.

Bibo Bergeron, the film’s director, is known for his work in “Shark Tale” and “The Road to El Dorado”. The Monster, his friends and foes as well as Paris in 1910s will come to cinematic life thanking to animators from “Bibo Films” whose short animated film “French Roast” won an Oscar in 2010.

In France, Lucile the cabaret singer is dubbed by Vanessa Paradis. After the Ukrainian dubbing, a rousing song by Paradis will remain.
